Report: Erling Haaland has a €75 million release clause in his contract with Dortmund
Sport Bild claims that Erling Haaland has a €75 million exit clause in his deal with Borussia Dortmund.
Erling Haaland's contract with Borussia Dortmund includes a €75 million release clause, according to Sport Bild.
However, the 19-year-old's clause will not yet be active in the summer of 2020. In fact, Sport Bild claimed earlier this month that it won't be possible to activate the clause until 2022.
Haaland and his representatives were hoping to include a release clause below €50 million in the contract, but Dortmund weren't willing to meet their request, as per the report.
The Norwegian striker's deal with Dortmund runs until 2024. He has made an excellent start to life in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals in his first two games.
