Tobias Strobl will be joining Augsburg from Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of the season, according to Bild.

Strobl is set to make the move to WWK Arena on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.

According to Bild, Augsburg reached an agreement with the versatile defensive player several weeks ago.

The 30-year-old is currently sidelined with a muscle injury that is expected to keep him out until the end of the season.

He has made a total of 83 appearances for Gladbach, making eight assists.
