Haaland ended his mini goal drought of seven scoreless games by inspiring Die Schwarzengleben to a comeback 4-1 victory over Werder Bremen at the WestfalenStadion – scoring a brace in the space of four minutes in the first half.

The next matchday, against Wolfsburg, the Norwegian hitman scored his 51st and 52nd Dortmund strikes and in doing so, registered a remarkable club record never seen before.

The Dortmund No.9 has become the first player in the club’s history to score twice or more on ten occasions in the Bundesliga and fourteen occasions across all competitions in a single season – a remarkable total of 28 goals in 13 appearances, so far.

Here is the list of his victims so far –

• Bundesliga Matchday 1 – Borussia Monchengladbach; 2 goals (3-0 victory)
• Bundesliga Matchday 3 – SC Freiburg; 2 goals (4-0 victory)
