The Volkswagen Arena on Matchday 31 witnessed a free-flowing Dortmund side led by Erling Haaland, who once again scored a record-breaking brace to give his side a huge push for a top four place as the season closes in three matchweeks.

He scored his 24th and 25th Bundesliga goals of the season, getting him past a club record set 5 years ago.

Haaland has now scored 16 away goals in the 2020/21 campaign – beating the previously set club record by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 2016/17 tally of 15 away goals.

The hitman has scored 38 Bundesliga goals so far, in only 41 appearances – a first for a 20-year-old in the German top flight history.

Additionally, he almost bettered the Bundesliga record for the fastest recorded speed of any player this season, as he clocked 35.99 km/h (22.33 mph) in the run for his second goal from the half way line - equaling Alphonso's Davies for the second place.

The Bundesliga record for the fastest sprint this season is also his – when he ran 36.04 km/h (22.39 mph) against VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 28.

Dortmund sit in 5th place with 55 points, two points behind 3rd placed Wolfsburg & one point behind 4th placed Frankfurt respectively.
