Frankfurt extend Chandler's contract through end of playing career: "He is held in high regard everywhere."
Before heading over to Hertha Berlin this summer, Eintracht Frankfurt sporting CEO Fredi Bobic has ensured that Timothy Chandler remains an SGE man for the duration of his career and beyond.

The Frankfurt native's working papers with the club have been extended from the summer of 2022 to 2025. The new contract also contains an option for still-to-be-defined "continued employment following the active playing career."
"Timmy's value for the team and the whole [professional] environment goes far beyond the sporting side," Sporting CEO Fredi Bobic explained in a statement, "He is held in high regard everywhere and his word carries weight."
Eintracht's soon-to-be ex-chief personnel executive appeared still committed to the Hessen club's central directive despite his imminent departure.
"A long-term extension as well as the option of a follow-up contract reflect Frankfurt's strategy of keeping deserving players involved after their playing career," Bobic further noted.
