Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has put a price tag on Jonas Hofmann, who is being linked with the likes of Tottenham, Leicester City and Atlético Madrid.

It has previously been reported that Hofmann would be allowed to leave for around €15 million, but it seems Gladbach command a significantly higher transfer fee.

"We live in a time when you can't rule anything out," Eberl told Bild am Sonntag and added:

"We certainly don't want to sell Jonas.

"But if at some point a club is offering €40 million for Jonas, we can't say we're not interested."

Hofmann, 28, is under contract with Gladbach until 2023.
