German footballing journalist Robin Meise cites internal sources claim that Kevin-Prince Boateng indeed has a medical scheduled with Berlin's West German capital club.
Assuming that the 34-year-old passes his medical, official confirmation of a deal should come on Thursday.
Rumors circulating about Kevin-Prince Boateng's imminent return to his hometown club are evidently quite true. This, at least, is the claim of journalist Robin Meise of one of Germany's top footballing insider websites. Meise reports that the elder of the two active Boateng brothers has a medical set-up in the capital on Wednesday.
Club and player should have a deal signed on Thursday. Boateng will come home to Charlottenburg after departing for greener pastures 14 years ago. Hertha will secure his services on a free transfer, six days before his current contract with Serie B side AS Monza FC is set to expire.
