Germany's main sporting tabloid report that Hertha scored a major deadline day coup minutes before the transfer window slammed shut.
Germany's Sport Bild reports that Hertha BSC landed another winger for the 2021/22 campaign with a last-minute swoop for Samu Castillejo of A.C. Milan. The 26-year-old Spanish winger will join Berlin's "alte Dame" on a one year loan without a purchase option.
Castillejo--still valued at €8 million in the latest transfermarkt listings--ordinarily plays on the wing, but can also serve as a short-striker or false-nine. He's tallied seven times in 82 appearances for the Serie A club in the past three seasons
Once confirmed by the club, the move will complete a radical two days of offensive personnel shake-ups that saw Fredi Bobic ship out Dodi Lukebakio and bring in Myziane Maolida.
