Official: FCA sign Bayern winger Kabadayi

FC Augsburg officially confirmed the signing of FC Bayern München academy man Yusuf Kabadayi on Thursday morning.

As had been rumored, winger Yusuf Kabadayi is headed to FC Augsburg on a permanent basis. The 20-year-old winger heads to the Fuggerstadt for (per Germany's Kicker Magazine) a transfer fee in the high six-figure-range. Kabadayi signed a four-year-deal with Augsburg on Thursday morning. Kadayai counts as the FCA's third summer signing behind striker Samuel Essende and central defender Keven Schlotterbeck.

"With Yusuf, we are getting an up-and-coming young attacker who has a solid foundational knowledge of football," FCA sporting director Marinko Jurendic noted in a statement, "With his dribbling strength, his speed and his physical abilities, he can be used variably in attack. After his last stint in the 2. Bundesliga, Yusuf should take the next step in his development in the Bundesliga at FCA."

"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge at FC Augsburg," the player himself added, "The talks with those responsible have convinced me that I can develop optimally here near to my hometown of Munich. Now it's time for me to step on the gas in training camp and earn as many playing minutes as possible in the Bundesliga."
