Bayern Munich welcomed back Aleksandar Pavlovic from a broken collarbone when he came off the bench in Tuesday's 0-1 DFB-Pokal defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking to Bild after the game, the Germany international revealed that he's back to full fitness.

"I'm fully fit again. I have no problems, nothing. I'm very happy," said Pavlovic.

"I'm doing everything I can to get back into the starting eleven. I'll do my best and we'll see.

“I was very, very happy when I came on. Obviously we wanted to get an equaliser, so it was a very bitter evening. I thought we played the whole game very, very well with ten men. We showed character and played a good game. And yes, it was very bitter to concede the goal.”

Pavlovic was a regular in central midfield until he broke his collarbone in October

With Joao Palhinha out injured, Leon Goretzka has recently partnered Joshua Kimmich in the middle of the park.
