Eberl confirms grim diagnosis for Pavlovic: "We're assuming a broken collarbone."

FC Bayern München chef personnel executive Max Eberl has confirmed that the club is assuming the worst in the matter of midfielder Aleksanadar Pavlovic.

Aleksandar Pavlovic's shift in Bayern's Saturday night victory over Stuttgart lasted just eight minutes. The 20-year-old German national team midfielder landed directly on his shoulder on his way down from an aerial duel and was immediately subbed off in favor of Joao Palhinha.

FCB board-member-for-sport Max Eberl told the Sky microphones afterwards that the team medical staff were operating on the assumption that a serious injury will sideline the four-times-capped international for a number of weeks if not months.

"We are assuming that he has a broken collarbone,” Eberl told the Sky on-pitch team, "This is really dramatic for Aleks. But, we have the depth in the squad to make up for it.’
