Bayern Munich have been linked with a summer swoop for Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah, according to reports in Spain.

Online portal Fichajes, believes that the Bavarian giants are considering a move for Salah in summer.

It is widely known that the 32-year-old, who is enjoying another stellar season at Liverpool, is yet to pen a new deal.

His current contract expires at the end of the current 2024-25 campaign, therefore making the winger a free agent in summer as things stand.

Add to that the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Bayern’s current wingers in Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman and the rumour becomes more believable.

However, with reported annual earnings of €22million, Salah’s wages would instantly put him at the top of Bayern’s salary fees.

Add to that the Bavarian club’s more economically savvy approach in signing younger, high-potential players in recent seasons and it all becomes a bit more unrealistic.

The Reds' winger currently has 25 goals and 16 assists in 27 Premier League outings while showing no signs of slowing down.
