Six candidates for Bundesliga Player of the Month award for September revealed

The nominees for the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for September have been announced.

SC Freiburg have two players in contention, with Igor Matanovic and Yannik Engelhardt both earning nominations.

They face competition from Michael Olise, who scored a fantastic hat-trick in Bayern Munich’s 7-0 rout of 1. FC Union Berlin before the international break, as well as Mainz forward Phillip Tietz, Bayer Leverkusen’s Miguel Gutierrez and VfB Stuttgart’s Maximilian Mittelstädt.
