The latest reports from HITC Football suggest that Oliver Glasner is on Bayer Leverkusen’s shortlist of possible replacements for Xabi Alonso this summer.

The Austrian boss, best known for his time at Eintracht Frankfurt where he won the Europa League, is currently under contact at Crystal Palace.

However, the London based Premier League club have no intentions of letting the 50-year-old go easily.

Crystal Palace fully intend on offering Glasner a new contract to keep him at Selhurst Park beyond 2026.

It is believed Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in his services.

The news comes as a result of growing speculation surrounding a potential opportunity for Xabi Alonso to manage Real Madrid
