Report: Wolfsburg eye up Norwegian striker to replace Wind

Spanish news portal “Relevo” reports that VfL Wolfsburg have their eyes on another Scandinavian striker as a potential replacement for likely-to-depart Danish forward Jonas Wind.

Amid their ongoing search for a potential replacement for Danish striker Jonas Wind, Germany's green company team may be eyeing another Scandinavian forward. Spanish news portal "Relevo” links Norwegian international Jørgen Strand Larsen with a potential move to Wolfsburg. The Celta Vigo forward would not come cheap. Transfermarkt values the 24-year-old at €20 million.

The 13-times-capped Norwegian international has just completed a highly successful campaign in which he scored 13 goals in 37 league games last year. Wind - who himself maintains an estimated market worth of €20 million despite a highly inconsistent season - continues to be linked with various EPL sides on the Isle.
