After leaving Real Madrid when his contract expired in the summer, David Alaba is now on the verge of joining his new club.
On Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano reported that the 34-year-old former Bayern Munich defender had chosen to join Udinese, and Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that Alaba has successfully completed his medical ahead of the move.
The Austria international is expected to sign a contract with the Serie A club until the end of the season.
Alaba joined Bayern Munich from Austria as a youngster in 2008 and went on to make 431 appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 33 goals and providing 55 assists, before leaving for Real Madrid in 2021.
