Donyell Malen has missed Borussia Dortmund's last two games due to injury, and apparently he's not quite ready to return yet.
As several German sources report on Tuesday morning, Malen will miss Wednesday's Champions League quarterfinal against Atletico Madrid due to an infection.
Apart from the Dutchman, the entire squad traveled to the Spanish capital on Tuesday, BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl confirmed.
With Malen still sidelined, Karim Adeyemi is expected to start on the left wing as he did in Dortmund's last two games.
The Black and Yellows will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to VfB Stuttgart.
