Hoffenheim's Kosovan duo listed as doubts for Mainz encounter

After narrowly missing out on the World Cup with Kosovo, two TSG Hoffenheim stars in Leon Advullahu and Albian Hajdari could be sidelined for the Bundesliga club this weekend.
In Hajdari's case, the defender suffered a cut on his head behind his ear in the 1-0 defeat to Türkiye in their World Cup play-off on Tuesday.
It won't be clear until Thursday or Friday whether the injury will prevent Hajdari from playing against 1.FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday.
The 22-year-old would be a candidate for the starting eleven in this important match, either as a starter or off the bench.
As for Leon Advullahu, the midfielder is suffering from an ongoing adductor injury since the middle of March.
Advullahu's absense from the starting line up was particularly noticeable when they lost 5-0 to RB Leipzig before the international break.
