No transfer activity in January for Bayern München, says Hoeness

Bayern München will definitely not be active on the transfer market in January, says Uli Hoeness.
There are no plans to make any winter signings at Bayern München according to the club's president, Uli Hoeness.

Speaking after yesterday's 2-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, Hoeness told Sky that Bayern "will certainly not be active on the transfer market" in January.

With Kingsley Coman and Thiago Alcantara expected back from injury soon, Hoeness claims there is no need to add to the squad. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Alphonso Davies joins Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps and will be eligible on play from the 1st of January.

"We get Coman back before Christmas. Thiago can play again in two or three weeks," the Bayern boss told Sky.

However, when it comes to the transfer market next summer, Bayern's will have a much more active approach.

"Next year, when the second step of the upheaval comes, we will certainly change the team's face quite a bit," Hoeness said.
