Zingler denies reports of Bjelica's early dismissal
Zingler's words did not specifically address reports that Bjelica and the club had mutually decided to go their separate ways after the campaign concludes. It does appear as if the Croatian will remain in charge for the final two league fixtures.

Though the full-time result at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei may certainly lead to a paradigm shift, 1. FC Union Berlin President Dirk Zingler at least partially denied reports surfacing in Germany's preeminent footballing publication on Wednesday whilst conducting his pre-kickoff interview. Kicker Magazine cited its own sources to claim that Union might be considering parting ways with trainer Nenad Bjelica before the season is out.
The Kicker report claimed that Union and Bjelica have already decided to go their separate ways at the end of the season.Zingler did not specifically deny that rumor, but did appear to put to rest the notion that the Croatian head-coach wouldn't finish the campaign. It seems as if die Eisernen are prepared to stick with Bjelica for the final two league fixtures.
"We are not affected by what is written or said outside the club," Zingler told German broadcaster DAZN, "Bjelica has our full support. The season we played was not a good one. That has nothing to do with Bjelica, but with the first half of the season. We didn't play well. We didn't deliver. Bjelica earned the points he needed to earn."
