Rose minimizes own role in RB resurgence: "Rouven gets a beer on me today."

RB Leipzig head-coach Marco Rose - responding to some positive comments made about by RB sporting director Rouven Schröder in the mixed zone yesterday - downplayed his role in RB Leipzig's recent revival. 

Yesterday's win against fellow Champions' League aspirants Borussia Dortmund capped a fantastic two months for RB Leipzig. After taking nearly maximum points from the last eight fixtures, the German Red Bulls have effectively clinched Champions' League football for themselves next season.

Speaking in the mixed zone following the Saturday afternoon win, RB sporting director Rouven Schröder credited head-coach Marco Rose for engineering the turnaround. Rose addressed Schröder's comments at his own post-match presser. 

"Rouven gets a beer on me today," Rose said, "I nevertheless think that there are many factors involved. The most important underlying factor is that we have healthy players. The players contribute by behaving professionally. The staff are contributing excellent work." 

"Our medical staff, our conditioning coaches, and our rehabilitation specialists," Rose continued, "The lads are getting proper meals [from the kitchen staff]. We're in a good mood on the bus ride home. We also have some disappointed players, but the lads are behaving impeccably." 

"That's [professional behavior from everyone] is really the basis for everything," Rose concluded, "The camaraderie and togetherness. Naturally, the results help as well."
