Bayern and Tuchel to part ways at the end of the season, Sky reports

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel have decided to part ways at the end of the season.
Thomas Tuchel will step down as Bayern Munich coach at the end of the season, according to Sky Germany.

The German media outlet claims that "after good and fair discussions," the parties have decided to part ways in the summer. Bayern are expected to make an official announcement soon.

With the Bavarians eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, out of the DFB-Pokal and having lost their first Champions League round of 16 match against Lazio, Tuchel has faced heavy criticism.

There have also been problems off the pitch under Tuchel, the latest being a furious verbal exchange between Joshua Kimmich and assistant coach Zsolt Löw after Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Bochum.

Xabi Alonso, Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte are among the names being mentioned as possible replacements for Tuchel.
