Seven possible replacements for Tuchel at Bayern

A number of candidates to replace under-fire Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel have been floated in recent days, including Xabi Alonso and Zinedine Zidane.
With Thomas Tuchel clinging on to his job at Bayern Munich after three successive defeats, a range of names have been suggested as potential replacements.

Xabi Alonso, who is eight points clear at the top of the table with Bayer Leverkusen, is said to be the preferred candidate, but the Spaniard is also high on the list at Liverpool, who need a replacement for Jürgen Klopp when he steps down in the summer.

Currently out of a job, Zinedine Zidane is also said to be a candidate and there's even talk of contact between him and Bayern. According to Bild, the former Real Madrid coach is "following the developments at the German record champions with interest".

Out of work like Zidane, Antonio Conte and José Mourinho are also said to be interested in the job.

According to Bild, Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness is on Bayern's list too, but the nephew of Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness would not be available until the summer.

Former Bayern coach Hansi Flick has been linked with a return to the Säbener Strasse, but apparently this is currently not a priority for neither the club nor the 58-year-old.

Finally, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been mentioned by Sky Germany as a possible interim coach for the rest of the season.

For the time being, however, Tuchel remains Bayern's coach and will lead the team into Saturday's match against RB Leipzig.
