Leverkusen boss: If Havertz leaves, it won't be a small deal

Kai Havertz won't be allowed to leave cheaply, says Bayer Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes.
Bayer Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes has warned Europe's top clubs that they must pay big if they want to sign Kai Havertz.

According to reports, Leverkusen want at least €100 million for the 20-year-old who has been linked with some of the biggest sides in Europe.

"It's clear that we're talking about Europe's biggest clubs. If he leaves, it won't be small deal," Rolfes told Sport1 and added:

"We'll see what happens. We're in close contact with him and his family.

"After seven matchdays, he has already scored two goals. Only few Bundesliga players cover as much ground as he does. He gives everything every time. He's an extremely important player for us, because he doesn't just define himself through goals," Rolfes said.

Havertz's contract runs until 2022.
