A reliable German media source reports that 1. FC Heidenheim are poised to complete their fourth summer signing. After securing the services of Julian Niehues (1. FC Kaiserslautern), Luca Kerber (1. FC Saarbrücken), and Sirlord Conteh (SC Paderborn 07), SV Darmstadt 98 midfielder Mathias Honsak is apparently set to serve as the latest addition.

Sky Germany also claims that a fifth signing (Brazilian attacker Leonardo Scienza of 3. Liga outfit SSV Ulm 1846) is also effectively in the bag.

Honsak has scored one goal in 21 appearances across all competitions for Darmstadt this season. The 27-year-old Austrian youth international was much more prolific in the German second division, netting 20 goals 131 appearances across all comps for both Darmstadt and Holstein Kiel.

Honsak is available to Heidenheim free-of-charge this summer after his current deal with the Hessen-based club expires at the end of the campaign. He is estimated to be worth €1.2 million in the latest transfermarkt update.
