Frankfurt captain Sebastian Rode ruled out against Dortmund

Sebastian Rode will not be able to feature against his former side when Eintracht Frankfurt lock horns with Borussia Dortmund this weekend.
Eintracht Frankfurt captain Sebastian Rode will miss his side's Bundesliga opener against Borussia Dortmund tomorrow.

"Sebastian Rode has problems with his knee, so he can't play tomorrow," revealed Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner at the pre-match press conference.

Jens Petter Hauge, on the other hand, could make Frankfurt's squad for the first time after his switch from AC Milan earlier this week.

"Hauge has made a good impression. Of course, he didn't play much for AC Milan during pre-season. I'll look at the final training, then I will decide on the squad."
