Rose praises Haaland after Dortmund's thumping win over Frankfurt

Marco Rose singled Erling Haaland out for praise after the striker had a foot in four of Borussia Dortmund's five goals against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose has lauded Erling Haaland's performance in yesterday's 5-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, which saw the Norwegian forward bag a brace and provide two assists.

"Erling scored two goals today and set up two goals as well. Then you are allowed to celebrate on your own in front of the South Stand," said Rose after his first Bundesliga game as Dortmund coach.

"If you are talking about my debut, then of course it was very successful. But it's more about the fact that we wanted to start the season well and we managed to do that. Things went very well for us today. In the end, it only succeeds through team-work, everyone knows that," added the Dortmund coach, whose side will be up against reigning champions Bayern München in the Super Cup on Tuesday.

"On Tuesday, we can test ourselves against the strongest team in Germany. That's when a trophy is on the line. We want to prepare well for that."
