After having a look during the 2021/22 German Bundesliga preparation phase, Gladbach have opted to loan left-back Andreas Poulsen out yet again. After two stints with FK Austria Wien, the 21-year-old will remain in the Bundesrepublik this time.

FC Ingostadt 04 in the 2. Bundesliga was confirmed as the season-long loan destination on Thursday evening. Poulsen, who remains under contract with die Fohlen until 2023, still has made only one appearance for the German club that purchased him in January 2018.

BMG sporting director Max Eberl noted the "competitive situation" at Poulsen's position, where US youngster Joe Scally has recently garnered quite a bit of attention deputizing for the injured Ramy Bensebaini.
