Slavia Prague coach: Achraf Hakimi will be among the best full-backs in the world

Slavia Prague coach Jindřich Trpišovský waxed lyrical about Borussia Dortmund's Achraf Hakimi after the full-back scored twice on Wednesday.
Achraf Hakimi stole the show at Eden Arena on Wednesday, scoring both of Borussia Dortmund's goals in their 2-0 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

Speaking to UEFA.com after the game, Slavia Prague coach Jindřich Trpišovský lauded praise on Hakimi and said he believes the 20-year-old will go on to become one of the world's best full-backs.

"I knew about Hakimi's quality. I think that, within a few years, he will be among the three or four best full-backs in the world. His potential is tremendous," he said.

Slavia Prague defender Ondřej Kúdela admitted that he and his teammates struggled to keep up with Hakimi's blistering pace.

"Hakimi sat on his motorbike and drove away from everybody. These counter-attacks were lethal, we made mistakes we cannot make at this level. We had our chances, but wasted them. We are still gaining experience at this level and we have to capitalise on it in the future," he told UEFA.com after the final whistle.

Hakimi is on loan from Real Madrid until next summer, but Dortmund have stressed that they would like to keep him beyond 2020.
