Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has made it clear that the club would like to sign Achraf Hakimi on a permanent deal from Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old's two-year loan deal with Dortmund expires in the summer of 2020, but Watzke hopes he will stay for longer than that.

"At the moment, I can't see him at Real Madrid, and I haven't heard anything about a possible return. I have the feeling that he feels at home in Dortmund. We will do everything we can to keep him here," Watzke told SZ.

The full-back has made 37 appearances for Dortmund with four goals and eight assists to his name.
