Adeyemi "under observation" from Dortmund bosses

The Dortmund speedster is apparently "under observation" according to the German tabloid.

Karim Adeyemi has been in the news for the wrong reasons lately with an alleged weapons scandal to his misconduct in Dortmund's 2-0 victory against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

As a result, Sport BILD assumes that the speedy attacking player cannot afford any further lapses in concentration at BVB.

Furthermore, the tabloid's report states Adeyemi is "under observation" and those in charge will be closely monitoring his performance.

Adeyemi's negotiating position has been weakened not only by his escapades but also by his recent performances on the pitch.

He hasn't contributed to a goal since November, and the German international has even been on the bench twice in recent matches.

Adeyemi's contract with Dortmund runs until 2027 and it's believed the Westphalians would still like to extend his current deal.
