Bayern Munich have reportedly set their sights on Rúben Neves, according to the popular Spanish sports newspaper ‘AS’.

The Bavarians are among the interested parties should the midfielder not extend his contract with Al Hilal, which expires this summer.

Like Manchester United, Atlético Madrid and Juventus, Bayern have already held informal talks with the player's representatives.

However, the report suggests Al Hilal presented the 28-year-old with a new, "irresistible offer" until 2028, including a significant pay increase.

Currently, signs suggest Neves will accept the offer – a sort of gentleman's agreement would allow him to leave the Saudi club in 2027.

Still, Neves has not made a decision, with The Times recently reporting that the former Wolves player is wants a Premier League return.

A transfer fee of around €20million is being discussed for the midfielder who could negotiate with other clubs without consent.
