Arijon Ibrahimovic is returning to FC Bayern Munich after his year-long loan spell at recently relegated 1.FC Heidenheim.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern are satisfied with Ibrahimovic's development and have made the youngster an initial contract extension offer.

Following his return, no further loan is currently planned. The winger will either extend his contract and stay in Munich or be sold.

Vincent Kompany supposedly rates the young attacker highly – he could fill the void left by the likes of Raphaël Guerreiro.

The decision now rests with the youngster himself, who has taken the next step in his development in Heidenheim.

However, this has not gone unnoticed by other clubs who are reportedly in the market for the 20-year-old Nürnberg native.

With 2 goals and 5 assists last season, Ibrahimovic has received inquiries from the Bundesliga, Premier League and Eredivisie.
