Apparently, Bayern Munich have already secured highly rated youngster Lennart Karl’s future at the club.

According to Kicker, Karl’s current youth contract includes an automatic extension clause that will take effect on his 18th birthday, February 22, 2026, converting the deal into a long-term professional contract.

Bayern and Karl agreed on this arrangement when he signed a deal until 2028 last summer the maximum three-year term allowed for a minor.

Once the clause is activated, his contract will be extended by several additional years, and Karl will receive a substantial salary increase, the report claims.

The 17-year-old attacker has had his breakthrough for Bayern's first team this season this season and has scored in two games in a row against Club Brugge in the Champions League and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
