According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Werder Bremen are considering making an offer for Ebenezer Akinsanmiro from Inter Milan.
The Italian source, however, notes that Bremen are not the only Bundesliga club interested – Borussia Mönchengladbach are equally keen.
In addition to the pair German topflight sides, fellow Serie A outfit Bologna FC is also said to have made inquiries for the youngster.
Last season, the central midfielder played on loan for Pisa SC who originally wanted to sign the Nigerian permanently for €7.5million.
Due to a bureaucratic error, the deal fell through for the 21-year-old and now Inter are said to be eyeing an even greater transfer fee.
According to a report in the Italian sports newspaper, the Nerazzurri are demanding up to €10million for the right-footed player.
Currently, "a future in Germany seems more likely" than remaining in Serie A for Akinsanmiro, the report continues.
