RC Strasbourg are set to sign Karim Coulibaly from Werder Bremen, according to multiple sources, including Sky Germany.

The clubs are understood to have agreed on a guaranteed transfer fee of €20 million, plus €5 million in potential bonuses and a 10% sell-on clause.

19-year-old Coulibaly has already been given permission to travel for his medical and will become the second-msot expensive sale in Werder's history, only behind Diego, who moved to Juventus for 27 million back in 2009.

The transfer is part of BlueCo’s multi-club structure, which includes both Strasbourg and Chelsea.

Chelsea were also reportedly interested in Coulibaly, and his move to Strasbourg could pave the way for a future switch to the London club if he continues his impressive development in France.
