Portuguese youngster Daniel Banjaqui has attracted the interest of Borussia Dortmund, according to the Swiss website 442.com.

According to reports, last season's Bundesliga runners-up is among the numerous clubs said to be vying for the talented player.

Besides BVB, RB Leipzig, Juventus and AS Roma, Brighton & Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid are keen.

Despite the abundance of clubs reportedly interested in the Benfica academy graduate, no concrete approaches have yet been made.

Should negotiations take place, they are unlikely to be easy. Banjaqui's contract in Lisbon doesn't expire until the summer of 2031.

His mandatory release clause in Portugal is reportedly €45million, but Benfica would be open to offers starting at around €35million.
