Despite enduring a turbulent first campaign at the club, Jobe Bellingham seems to be settling into life at Borussia Dortmund.
The midfielder has already played the full 90 minutes in the Westphalian club's first two Bundesliga matches which ended in victories.
Even with Joey Veerman starting alongside Felix Nmecha against Villarreal, Bellingham played a key role off the bench on Tuesday.
Now, according to a report by Teamtalk, Bellingham is a serious candidate for a call-up to the England senior squad.
Members of Thomas Tuchel's coaching staff are said to be "impressed" by the right-footed player's development at Dortmund.
It's believed the former BVB and Bayern Munich coach is considering restructuring his Three Lions' squad after the World Cup.
Consequentially, several promising talents could make the squad for their Nations League games with Spain, Czechia and and Croatia.
A final decision has yet been made regarding Bellingham's nomination, but the midfielder is said to be on Tuchel's list of considerations.
If so, he could potentially play alongside his older brother and ex-Dortmund talisman Jude Bellingham in the England jersey.
