Speaking after Bayern Munich clinched the Bundesliga title yesterday, Harry Kane said the chants of 'Berlin, Berlin, we're going to Berlin' only boosted his mood for Wednesday's Pokal clash.

“Of course it's a motivation. We spoke a lot at the start of the season about the cup being a priority for us," Kane told BILD, regarding their upcoming semi-final with Bayer Leverkusen.

"It's been too long since our club won this competition – especially considering how dominant we've been in the league.

It’s tough to win the cup because it’s a knockout competition. So you have to be there in every game, and we have been this season.

We’ve had some tough matches that we still managed to win. Now we’re one step away from the final, and we know how important it is to the fans. We have to get there," he added.

The German record champions last lifted the domestic cup back in 2020, coming in the form of a resounding 4-2 victory over this week's last four opponents Leverkusen.
