The race to sign Julian Brandt is gathering pace, with Sky Sports reporting that both Leeds United and Ajax have now both submitted concrete offers for the 30-year-old attacking midfielder.
According to the report, Brandt’s preferred destination is Leeds United, with the opportunity to play in the Premier League proving particularly appealing. His father and advisor, Jürgen Brandt, is expected to visit Elland Road at the beginning of next month for talks with the newly promoted Premier League side, with negotiations said to be ongoing.
While Brandt is also open to a move to Serie A, there is currently no concrete interest from Italy.
The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker became a free agent following the expiry of his contract this summer and is now free to negotiate with interested clubs.
