Chipping in with a goal in Bayern Munich's 5-0 triumph over Bodø/Glimt tonight, Jamal Musiala was more than happy to be involved.

“I'm very happy to have scored, happy to be back in the starting lineup in the Champions League," said Musiala, speaking with DAZN.

"I'm getting my rhythm back. The team really supported me, the coach, my teammates, they were a big help.

“I want to perform – and step by step, have fun again and get back to my best,” he added, before Harry Kane shared his thoughts.

“I'm really happy with the result. We had to be patient tonight," the English striker said, referencing a frustrating first-half of action.

"I thought we were also better in the first half, their goalkeeper made some good saves. We stayed calm and kept knocking on the door.

"The early goal helped us [from Musiala]. We showed last season that we get even stronger as the game advances.

“We wanted to put in a good performance and get the three points in front of our fans. I'm happy we did that,” the 33-year-old added.

Bayern will now turn their attentions back to domestic action ahead of Sunday's Bundesliga clash with newly promoted SV Elversberg.
