Bayern München will not be pursuing a move for Kai Havertz this summer, according to a report from Sport Bild.

Having made the signing of Leroy Sané from Manchester City their top priority this summer, the German champions will not be willing to meet Bayer Leverkusen's asking price of at least €100 million for the highly-rated 21-year old, as per the report.

Should Havertz decide to spend another season at Leverkusen, Bayern would consider joining the race again.

According to Sportbuzzer, Havertz is in favor of a move to Real Madrid, but Leverkusen are understood to have turned down an initial offer form the Spanish La Liga giants.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Havertz, who is under contract with 'Die Werkself' until 2022.
