Nicolas Gonzalez says he has informed VfB Stuttgart of his desire to leave the club this summer.
"I had a wonderful time in Germany, but now I've made up my mind: I need a change of air. I want to leave Stuttgart," González is quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.
"I've already spoken to the club and I'm ready for a new chapter in my career," he continued.
The 22-year-old played a key role as Stuttgart won promotion to the Bundesliga in the 2019/20 season, scoring 14 goals in 27 league appearances.
He joined the club from Argentinos Juniors in 2018.
