Official: Bayern youngster Oliver Batista Meier joins Heerenveen on loan

19-year-old Oliver Batista Meier has joined SC Heerenveen on loan from Bayern München.
Bayern München have sent 19-year-old Oliver Batista Meier out on loan to SC Heerenveen.

The young winger will be heading to the Netherlands on a one-year loan deal without an option to buy.

Batista Meier, who has been limited to just one appearance for Bayern's first team, played 18 games for the reserves in the third division last season, scoring four goals.

Bayern have already sent a number of young players out on loan for the new season, including Lars Lukas Mai (SC Paderborn) as well as Christian Früchtl and Sarpreet Singh (both FC Nürnberg).
