Schalke 04 coach Manuel Baum has hailed the importance of Mark Uth.

"Nobody is irreplaceable, and I have confidence in all our players. But attacking-wise, Mark Uth is an outstanding and important player," Baum told WAZ and added:

"He's a creative player, who is capable of putting a plan into action at the same time. This makes him an exceptional footballer. If he's not on the pitch, we're a few percent short offensively."

The 29-year-old missed last week's 1-1 draw with Union Berlin due to muscular problems. Unfortunately for Schalke, he will not be fit in time for Saturday's derby against Borussia Dortmund.
