Konrad Laimer and Lukas Klostermann ruled out until 2021

RB Leipzig will be without Lukas Klostermann and Konrad Laimer for the rest of the year, head coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed.
Lukas Klostermann and Konrad Laimer have been ruled out for the rest of the year by RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Lukas Klostermann is expected back in training in the middle of December, but it's "more than unrealistic" that he will be able to feature again this year, said Nagelsmann ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Laimer, who underwent surgery on a knee problem more than two months ago, remains sidelined indefinitely.

"His knee problem hasn't disappeared 100 percent after the operation," revealed Nagelsmann.

"Psychologically, it's not easy for him to deal with this situation. I don't want to put him under any pressure. At the moment it's not clear when he will be back."

RB Leipzig will also be without Nordi Mukiele and Marcel Halstenberg for their trip to Frankfurt while Dayot Upamecano and Willi Orban aren't at 100 percent due to recent injury issues.
