The 3 talents in question are goalkeeper Roy Steur and forwards Jordan Zirkzee and Abdul Sesay. Steur (16) has joined 'Die Werkself' from Ajax, Sesay (15) has joined from the Vitesse Arnhem academy, and Zirkzee (also 15), the brother of Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Zirkzee, joins from the Rotterdam giants Feyenoord.

Bayer Leverkusen have stated their intentions with the 2 Dutch starlets, saying the 16-year-old Steur will join the Bayer Leverkusen U19 setup, and the 2 15-year-old forwards Zirkzee and Sesay will be part of the U17 setup.

The moves of the players have been greeted with praise from the top officials at the BayArena, with the head of performance at Bayer Leverkusen Thomas Eichin saying: "We are pleased to have won such ambitious and talented young players for us," and Bernd Korzynietz, Head of Junior Scouting, also spoke fondly about the players: "With whom we have not only gained a lot of talent. They also enrich us as types. Bayer 04 Leverkusen has a great reputation not only within Germany but also internationally, as documented by the players' signatures."
