After sacking Erik ten Hag as head coach on Monday, Bayer Leverkusen are once again looking for a new coach.

According to Spanish publication Marca, former Real Madrid and Spain star Raúl is among the candidates being considered by the German club's management.

Until the summer, the 48-year-old ex-Schalke striker was in charge of Real Madrid's reserve team.

Among the other candidates rumoured to be in the running for the job is former Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose.

Ideally, a decision will be made by the end of this week, with the replacement being presented at the start of next week.
