Karl Hein is expected to start Werder Bremen’s away game against Borussia Dortmund on Friday after stacking off a knock picked up on international duty with Estonia.
“At the moment, I expect him to play tomorrow evening,” Werder Bremen head coach Daniel Thioune said at a press conference on Thursday.
Hein returned to team training on Thursday and came through the session without any issues.
“The goalkeeper coach said it was a very good session. He didn’t see any lingering concerns or anything Karl was unable to do,” Thioune said.
The Estonian international has started all of Werder Bremen’s Bundesliga games so far this season.
