Anthony Barry has worked with some top finishers during his career, including spells as an assistant at Chelsea, Belgium, Portugal and Bayern Munich.

However, the 40-year-old, who currently works as an assistant to England head coach Thomas Tuchel, believes nobody comes close to Harry Kane when it comes to ball-striking ability. Not even Cristiano Ronaldo.

“He [Kane] is the best ball striker I have ever worked with, better than all the great finishers I have ever worked with. Cristiano and all those players. You say it is phenomenal but I would say it’s just normal in terms of Harry,” Barry told The Athletic.

"What you see in the warm-up. The repetition of the ball strike, the clarity. It’s simply a level I have never experienced, with both feet."

Kane has scored in six consecutive games for Bayern Munich and England and will look to extend that run against the Czech Republic on Tuesday night.
